Christy Eidson is a comedian, writer, and actor. Southern-fried humor with a pinch of sass and a hilarious dose of attitude all describe her. She creates colorfully visual stories from her distinct southern point-of-view. She is a strong female comedian, but doesn’t like to be labeled just a “female comic”, because she can hold her own with the boys. Many describe her as “Melissa McCarthy meets Jack Black”. On stage, she comes across as extremely likable and confident, yet unpredictable and memorable. With her high energy, charisma, quick wit, and strong comedic timing, Christy commands the stage. With this combination, she quickly grabs the audience’s attention and doesn’t let go until she’s walking off the stage.

Christy has appeared in national TV commercials as well as having a recurring role on the sitcom “Still the King” starring Billy Ray Cyrus on CMT. She has appeared on “Nashville” on ABC and “Nashville Star” on NBC as well as various other reality TV programs. She is an entrepreneur, public speaker, and author. She studied improv at the legendary Groundlings in Los Angeles with instructors such as Ben Falcone and Hugh Davidson. She showcased several years for the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas and California’s Funniest Women Contest. She has opened for such comedians as Charlie Murphy, Jim Florentine, Pauly Shore, Ty Barnett, and Jimmy Shubert.

Christy is the unique kind of comedian who can perform in front of just about any audience: from comedy clubs to biker rallies and gay pride festivals to charity shows. Many audience members vowed that they hadn’t laughed so long or so hard in years!
